    ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT

    The Institute invites applications from eligible persons with visual impairment (LV & BL) for
    admission to the following course, offered by the Department of Skill Development & Economic
    Empowerment (DSDEE) at NIEPVD, under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with
    Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
    Trainees will be entitled for allowances and other benefits as per the norms of the institute &
    relevant scheme.

    1. Course Details:
    a. Name of the course : Operator- Computer Application & Assistive Technology- VI
    b. Intake capacity : Ten
    c. Duration : 940 Hours
    d. Mode : Offline (Medium- Hindi & English)
    e. Attendance : Minimum 70% during the course
    f. Last date of application: 5th June 2025

    2. Eligibility Criteria
    a. Minimum class 10th pass or higher
    b. Students with benchmark disability i.e. 40% or more as defined in RPwD Act, 2016 and
    having a valid UDID card issued by the competent authority
    c. Aadhar number is mandatory.
    d. NOC from the employer in case of employee in any organization.

    3. Selection Process:
    1. In case the applications received from the candidates exceeds the seats available for the
    course i.e., 10, the entrance test or interview or both may be conducted by the institute to
    select the candidates.
    2. Passing marks in entrance exam: 40%.
